Space Opera Characters

I'm going to post these together since they're all from the same "space opera" story universe, a light-hearted mech pilot, a beautiful and deadly alien woman, and finally a terrifying alien serpent hungry for both of them.

Magical Animal Caretaker

I've been branching out to some human characters besides mostly creatures. This guy is my Slytherin replacement for Hagrid. He Teaches Care of Magical creatures and sells dangerous black market creatures on the side.

Snow Leopotamus

Inspired by the creatures of the Avatar TV series. She is the apex predator who roams around the mountains of the Northern Water tribe. She is the snow queen stalking the icy mountain paths, hunting anyone who wanders into her territory. She picks her moment carefully then suddenly appears out of the snow like a phantom and drags her victims away.

Sewer Critter

These guys travel through sewer pipes hunting hobos in packs.

Spectrum 19 and Sketches

First and foremost I wanted to share some fantastic news with you, one of my pieces has been selected for inclusion in Spectrum 19! I sent in two pictures (Karnicore and Tigerpede) so I don't know which made it yet but my name is on Spectrum's artist list.

Golden Interdimensional Serpent Redux

First Post of 2012! I had hoped to get this finished much sooner but alas it took longer than expected.

This is a redesign of one of my creatures which originally looked much more like a regular gold snake with hair however since this is a creature that travels between dimensions I tried to make the design more alien. These creatures are powerful and intelligent beings capable of slipping through the barriers between alternate worlds in order to migrate between dimensions. Their armored bodies protect them as they drift through alien worlds and their multiple eyes allow them to see in various environments. Where eyes are of no use their tentacles help them find their way.
